Yehudit Cohen

Scientific Director at MIDGAM - Israel National Biobank for Research, Israel

Dr. Cohen has a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where she also did her postdoctoral research in Cancer Research. Over the years she has dealt with a variety of topics, with the main topic, which defines her main area of specialization, is the field of biobanking. Today she is the Scientific Director of the Israel National Biobank for Research (MIDGAM) and serves as a consultant in the field of biobanking in Israel and around the world. Dr. Cohen also took part in clinical trials and was a member of the Institutional Helsinki Committee.
